Under the condition of the same wall thickness, Spherical Storage Tanks have the highest pressure-bearing capacity, and their wall thickness is only 1/2 of cylindrical storage tanks of the same diameter and material. Moreover, under the same storage volume, the spherical structure is 30% to 40% smaller than the cylindrical tanks in terms of external surface area, which significantly reduces the amount of steel used and lowers the manufacturing cost.
